About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to promote and sell pre-owned vehicles to customers. As a Car Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional service throughout the entire buying process.
Main Responsibilities:
* Greet and engage customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
* Presentation of vehicle features, specifications, and benefits to potential buyers.
* Provide information about pricing, financing options, and promotions.
* Assist customers in selecting vehicles that best meet their requirements.
* Address customer questions, resolve concerns, and build long-term relationships.
Sales Target Achievement:
* Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively answer customer questions.
* Follow up on leads and customer inquiries, including inbound and outbound calls, emails, and in-person visits.
Negotiation & Closing:
* Negotiate pricing, trade-ins, and financing options with customers to close sales.
* Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Market Knowledge:
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, vehicle models, and competitor offerings.
* Continuously expand your knowledge of the dealership's inventory and promotions.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous sales experience, preferably in automotive sales or a customer-facing role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for cars and knowledge of automotive products.
* Ability to meet sales targets and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Good negotiation and closing skills.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
* Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar CRM tools (Salesforce, etc.) is a plus.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in a commission-based sales role.
* Knowledge of automotive financing options.
