Employment Law Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Law Specialist to provide high-quality support to our team of employment and disputes partners and fee earners. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks, including matter management processes, client due diligence, and file management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with finance teams to ensure the financial performance of fee earners is supported effectively.
* Manage engagement letters, conflict checks, and client due diligence processes efficiently.
* Ensure all file management processes are accurate and up-to-date.
* Provide comprehensive diary management, including forward planning and proactive travel arrangements.
* Support the head of employment in driving initiatives to enhance the employment team's performance.
* Prepare court pleadings, document management, and due diligence reports as required.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients of the employment team.
* Work closely with business development to support fee earners on event organization and attendance.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years' experience as a legal PA in a comparable environment at an appropriate level.
* Experience in employment law and/or litigation is beneficial.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A confident stakeholder manager with evidenced experience of engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain efficient diary and task management across multiple tasks.
* Enthusiasm, resilience, and ambition to find solutions to problems.
