We're looking for a senior full-stack developer to take ownership of major product features and help shape the next stage of Sero's technical direction.
You'll work with a modern Laravel stack (Laravel + Livewire v3 + Tailwind) to build complex, high-performance UI and backend workflows.
Your work will include:
Current Platform
* Building and improving core application features (Laravel + Livewire v3)
* High-performance image handling (upload, metadata, secure access, imaging comparisons/AI analysis)
* Integrations with practice systems, booking platforms and clinical systems
* AWS-based deployments and optimisation.
Where We're Going (You Will Influence This)
* Enabling mobile-first imaging and workflow apps (React Native / API support)
* Expanding FHIR-based interoperability (Patient, ImagingStudy, Observations, Encounters)
* Scaling multi-location architecture and distributed data
* Improving real-time syncing, notifications and offline-friendly workflows
* Supporting new imaging devices and advanced imaging pipelines
This is a high-autonomy role working directly with the CTO, engineering team and clinicians.
What You Bring
* Strong experience with Laravel (architecture, performance, secure coding)
* Comfortable across backend and front-end (Livewire v3, Blade, Tailwind)
* Experience building secure, production systems
* Confident debugging complex issues and optimising SQL & application performance
* Experience with AWS and CI/CD workflows
* High bar for code quality, security and reliability
Nice to Have
* Experience building or supporting mobile apps
* Medtech / healthcare / regulated industry experience
* Imaging, large-file workflows, FHIR or HL7 experience
Location
* Cork or Dublin (on-site/office based with travel).
Due to close collaboration with clinical teams and imaging hardware, this role is not remote.
