Chartered Senior Structural Engineer (4+ years)
A multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is hiring a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer to lead building and infrastructure projects across residential, commercial and public sectors. The role combines hands-on structural design with coordination of teams, clients and contractors from concept through to construction.
Key responsibilities
* Lead structural design for concrete, steel, masonry and timber building projects.
* Coordinate with architects, civil engineers and project managers to deliver complete design packages.
* Prepare and review calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
* Support site stages, including technical queries, submittal reviews and inspections.
* Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
* Chartered Engineer (Engineers Ireland or equivalent).
* Degree in Structural or Civil & Structural Engineering.
* Minimum 4+ years' structural design experience in an Irish consultancy.
* Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, Irish standards and regulations.
* Good communication skills and experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
