Job Description: We are currently seeking a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration & HVAC systems, a keen eye for detail, the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of refrigeration equipment and be able to work as part of a busy service team.
Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems, including commercial refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning units.
* Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
* Diagnose malfunctions in refrigeration systems and components, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration principles and testing instruments.
* Conduct preventative maintenance activities to prolong the life of refrigeration equipment and reduce the likelihood of breakdowns.
* Respond promptly to service calls and emergency situations, addressing issues in a timely and effective manner.
* Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate repair and maintenance activities.
* Keep accurate records and reports of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and hours worked.
* Work on an On Call emergency breakdown Rota
Requirements:
* Fluent English - Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic or in a similar role.
* Certification in refrigeration repair or a related field is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
* Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulations.
* Full clean EU driving license
* Knowledge of C02 desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

* Manual Handling
* F-Gas Certification
