Job Description:Locum Staff Grade Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
This role involves working in a high-security prison for adult males, primarily dealing with offenders linked to subversive crime.
The Psychology Service provides evidence-based approaches for men with complex clinical and criminogenic needs, including assessment and intervention.
Applicants should be prepared for flexible start dates and immediate interviews.
The psychologist will work within a multidisciplinary team, engaging with prison staff, community agencies, and families, providing assessments, therapeutic interventions, and reports, including support for parole processes.
Qualifications include eligibility for graduate membership of the PSI or BPS, and a postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology recognized by PSI.
Experience with forensic populations and additional therapeutic qualifications are desirable.
