Job Title: Senior Culinary Lead

In this fast-paced role, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of menu development, with a deep understanding of current trends and traditional cuisine.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior sous chef role, with expertise in developing menus that showcase creative flavor combinations and presentation styles. They will be confident in working with fish and meat, incorporating them into varied menus, and have strong baking skills, including pastry work. A HACCP certification is essential, along with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of kitchen hygiene, food storage, and record-keeping.

A key aspect of this role is leading by example and mentoring a small/medium-sized kitchen team, including wash-up and kitchen assistant staff, and chef colleagues. Excellent communication skills are vital for success, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with front-of-house colleagues.

This is a full-time position, with shifts rostered 5/7, including daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Applicants must be available to attend an in-person interview and provide references to support their application. We offer a competitive package to the successful candidate.
