As a key member of our team, the successful Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on projects in County Sligo. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, organisation, and communication.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and the building programme.
Maintain a clean and organized site and manage site logistics effectively.
Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on site in compliance with Irish legislation.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of site operatives and subcontractors.
Work closely with the design team and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Order materials as required and keep accurate records of site activities and deliveries.
Necessary Qualifications & Experience:
We are looking for someone with at least 5+ years experience in a supervisory role on various construction sites/projects.
A trade background preferred (e.g., carpentry, bricklaying, etc.).
Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (mandatory).
Current CIF Supervisor Safety Awareness training (or willingness to obtain).
Experience with Irish Building Regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
