The successful candidate will play a key role in the preparation and submission ofhigh-quality bids and tendersforindustrial construction projects, supporting the continued growth of our business.This role suits a detail-oriented professional with strong writing skills and an understanding of the construction or engineering environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, write, and coordinate tender and bid submissions for industrial build projects.Review tender documentation, employer's requirements, and technical specifications.Develop clear, compelling written responses that align with client requirements and evaluation criteria.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, commercial teams, and senior management to gather technical and commercial input.Maintain and develop a bid library including CVs, project experience, case studies, and standard responses.Ensure all submissions are compliant, well-structured, and delivered on time.Support post-tender clarifications and presentations as required.Continuously improve bid quality, templates, and processes.RequirementsPrevious experience as a Bid Writer, Proposal Writer, or similar role, ideally within construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.Strong written English with excellent attention to detail.Ability to understand technical construction information and translate it into clear, persuasive content.Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.DesirableExperience working on industrial, commercial, or large-scale construction projects .Familiarity with public and private sector tendering processes.Understanding of health & safety, quality, and sustainability requirements in construction.Degree or qualification in construction, engineering, journalism, or a related discipline.What We OfferOpportunity to work on high-value industrial build projects .Competitive salary and benefits package.Career development and progression opportunities.Supportive and collaborative working environment.Stable, long-term role within a growing construction business.How to ApplyIf you are an experienced Bid Writer looking to develop your career within the construction and industrial build sector, we would love to hear from you.
