We are seeking a talented Hair Styling Professional to join our team in the heart of Castlebar town.
About the Role
* This is a full-time position requiring a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
* The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a salon environment, preferably as a senior stylist or lead artist.
* We are looking for someone who is able to work independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cut, colour and style hair to meet individual client requirements, using a range of techniques and products to achieve the desired look.
* Provide consultations to determine client needs and preferences, using active listening skills and empathy to build rapport and trust.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions, including services provided and follow-up appointments.
* Work collaboratively with other stylists and support staff to achieve team goals, including promoting sales and upselling services.
Requirements:
* Degree or diploma in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification, with a strong emphasis on theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
* Minimum 1 year's experience in a salon environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and exceeding targets.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse clients and colleagues.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
