An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading main contractor delivering a major €150M mixed-use development in Dublin. This flagship project includes large-scale residential blocks, commercial units, and associated infrastructure works.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site delivery teams, ensuring accuracy in setting out, quality control, and smooth coordination across all site activities.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out accurate setting out using Total Station, GPS, and laser levels
Interpret and work from construction drawings and specifications
Support the Site Manager and Project Manager in daily site operations
Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are completed to programme
Maintain site records including QA documentation, as-builts, and surveys
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
Assist with material tracking, technical queries, and design coordination
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met
Liaise with consultants, design teams, and local authorities where required
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
2–5 years’ experience in a Site Engineer role (residential/commercial preferred)
Strong setting out experience essential
Proficient in use of Total Station and surveying equipment
Good understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a site team in a fast-paced environment
Salary up to €85,000 depending on experience
Company vehicle or travel allowance
