Overview Of Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 2 years accounts receivable administration experience to join an experienced team in managing the accounts receivable process. The accounts receivable (AR) administrator is responsible for duties necessary to facilitate billing of patient hospital admissions and collection & reconciliation of payments. Responsibilities include account follow-up with insurance payers, contact with patients, and other third parties. The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and multitask, and be a strong communicator.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
* Invoicing claims promptly after patient discharge.
* Reconciling received payments and following up with insurance providers, HSE, and patients for outstanding balances.
* Handling pended claims from insurance providers, ensuring timely information return.
* Processing overdue letters to patients for owed monies.
* Liaising with third-party collection agencies.
* Following up on unpaid or pended claims.
* Responding to customer enquiries regarding invoices.
* Supporting team projects.
Qualifications & Experience
* At least 2 years of accounts receivable administration experience.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
