As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician Lead Foreman to join our dynamic team and take on a leadership role in overseeing day-to-day field operations. As the Service Technician Lead Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of service technicians to ensure the efficient delivery of technical services across commercial sites in Dublin and surrounding areas. You will be hands-on in diagnosing and resolving technical issues while also managing schedules, quality standards, and safety compliance. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and proven leadership experience in a field-based service environment. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Lead, support, and mentor a team of field service technicians. Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on: Automated entry doors (sliding, swing, revolving) Access control systems (card readers, keypads, biometric units) Security gates and turnstiles Ensure compliance with all safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. Team & Workflow Management: Assign daily tasks and coordinate job schedules across the team. Review completed jobs for quality assurance and client satisfaction. Monitor performance, provide feedback, and support technician development. Client & Operations Support: Liaise with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and effective service delivery. Prepare job reports, service logs, and performance documentation. Support stock and parts management for field operations. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of experience as a service technician, ideally in access control, automated doors, or building security systems. 2+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role. Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage systems. Familiarity with safety and compliance standards relevant to commercial entry systems. Full, clean Irish driving licence. Relevant certifications in electrical or mechanical systems (e.g., Safe Pass, Manual Handling, PSA licence) preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
