Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role.
Hours: Four days per week, 10am to 5.30pm, varying days, weekend work required.
The Sales Representative will assist customers in selecting suitable furniture, provide expert product and interior design advice and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Key responsibilities include answering inquiries, processing transactions, maintaining the showroom's presentation, and achieving sales targets while promoting the company's values and products.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Welcoming and assisting customers in the showroom
* Supporting the sales process from initial enquiry through to order completion
* Handling day to day administrative tasks including order processing, scheduling and customer follow ups
* Ensuring showroom is maintained to a high standard at all times
* Answering phone and email enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring a smooth customer journey
* Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure a high standard of service at all times
Working pattern:
* Typically four days per week
* Days will vary week to week and are not fixed
* Weekend availability is essential
Required experience and attributes:
* Previous experience in a sales and administrative roles
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly motivated with a willingness to learn
* Organised, reliable and comfortable managing multiple tasks
* Confident using basic computer systems and email
* A genuine interest in home design and furnishings
Desirable experience:
* Experience working in a furniture, interiors or interior design environment
