We're now seeking a Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, collaborative team.
This role is primarily large animal–focused but offers a diverse caseload that may include some small animal and equine work, depending on your interests.
Whether you're looking for full-time stability or a flexible part-time arrangement, we're happy to work around what suits you best.
What Your Days Will Look Like
You'll spend most of your time out and about, providing routine and emergency care for cattle and sheep, including TB testing and herd health visits.
You'll also have the chance to carry out occasional equine work and light small animal duties - routine consults, minor surgeries, and follow-ups.
Our hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, and Saturdays, 9am–1pm, with a 1 in 4 weekend and night rota.

Our custom-built clinic is bright, modern, and fully equipped - with everything you'd expect to support high-quality care in a calm, efficient environment.
Our team includes four vets, two veterinary nurses, two receptionists, and a practice manager; a small, friendly group that values teamwork, humour, and mutual respect.
The Kind of Person We're Looking For
You'll be a VCI-registered Veterinary Surgeon (or eligible for registration by January ****)m with experience in clinical practice and a genuine enthusiasm for large animal work.
A full, clean driving license is essential for farm calls.
You're the kind of person who communicates well, enjoys collaborating, and approaches challenges with positivity and care.
