Job Title: Day Service Facilitator

This role requires a professional with the ability to facilitate and support individuals in various service and community-based programs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities and possess skills in person-centered planning, capacity building, social inclusion, positive behavior supports, community development, advocacy, and empowerment.
The successful applicant will be responsible for enabling service-users to participate in a range of activities, including education, employment, sports, and social/recreational pursuits. They will also identify and support opportunities for building people's natural support networks and social roles.
To be considered for this role, you must have a relevant third-level qualification in Social Care, Education, Community Development, Training, etc. (QQI Level 6 or higher). A minimum of three years' experience supporting adults with an intellectual disability or similar field is also required.
Beyond the essential qualifications and experience, we are looking for a candidate with excellent communication, teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be able to work on your own initiative and be flexible.
A full clean driving license and use of your own vehicle are also necessary requirements for this role.
