The post holder will focus on children and young people under 16 years of age, working with patient groups such as those with complex neurodisability/neurodevelopmental conditions, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), continence, sleep, and feeding challenges.

They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver specialist neurodisability/neurodevelopmental services.

As a specialist nurse in this area, the candidate is expected to provide evidence-based, expert nursing care to children and their families.

Essential Criteria
">
* Be registered with the active Register held by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or be entitled to be so registered.
">
* Have 5 years post-registration experience and at least 2 years in the specialty or related area.
">
* Hold a recognized postgraduate course relevant to Neurodisability/Complex Needs Nursing of no less than level 8 on the NFQ framework.
">
* Possess clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to discharge the role's functions effectively.
">
* Demonstrate ongoing learning and professional development.
