Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team is looking for experienced professionals to build the world’s premier cloud computing platform. We are seeking Manufacturing Engineers who can operate in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing, multi‑platform international manufacturing and production environment.Sr. Manufacturing Engineers work closely with Design Partners (DPs) to scale up our production on New Product Introductions (NPIs) and ensure we meet production and quality targets. The role requires close collaboration with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), AWS hardware and software development teams, and upstream component vendors to monitor and improve incoming hardware quality—proactively in the design phase and by monitoring, reporting, and investigating early‑life product failures. Engineers will be a technical contact, fully owning the manufacturing launch and process issue resolution, driving production set‑up, root‑cause analysis, and supplier process improvement. The position may involve up to 50% travel to manufacturing sites across Europe.Join a diverse team of software, hardware, network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and others to deliver high standards for safety, security, and capacity while maintaining cost efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesManage manufacturing technical operations support at the DP.Provide on‑site support for new product launches and sustaining issues.Design for quality and manufacturability on new server and rack designs.Root cause customer‑impacting issues and drive resolution.About the TeamAWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations from foundational services such as Amazon S3 and Amazon EC2 to newly released services that set AWS apart.
