What you need to knowMatrix Recruitment is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Associate for a well-established global financial services organisation in Dublin City Centre. This contract role sits within a specialist financial reporting team and involves preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements for a portfolio of investment funds. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external auditors, supporting continuous improvement across reporting processes.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review annual and interim financial statements for investment funds under IFRS and/or US GAAP.Oversee the full financial statement production cycle, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.Review drafts, supporting schedules, and reporting packs; present to Boards as required.Liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure smooth reporting cycles.Support process improvements and assist with implementation of changes to accounting or disclosure standards.Requirements3+ years' experience in financial reporting within fund administration or professional services.Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and investment fund structures (incl. private equity, hedge, alternatives).Experience with financial reporting platforms (e.g., Confluence Unity, DFIN Arc) is advantageous.Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.Professional accounting qualification desirable (ACCA, ACA, CPA, etc.).By applying, you are giving consent for Matrix Recruitment to contact you about this job.
