Director of strategic finance

Job Opportunity

The Financial Director will spearhead the business's financial strategy, encompassing planning, operations, and execution.

Key responsibilities include:

* Formulating financial strategies to drive long-term growth and profitability
* Conducting thorough analyses of market trends and new business opportunities
* Providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making
* Overseeing all financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management
* Maintaining robust internal controls, policies, and statutory compliance (VAT, tax, audit)
* Negotiating and managing external financial relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
* Delivering accurate management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and key performance indicator reporting
* Analyzing profitability and performance, collaborating closely with business managers

Requirements:

* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA) with a strong track record in senior finance leadership roles
