Solas Psychology is a well-established, reputable specialist psychology service providing high-quality, neuro-affirming autism assessments for children and young people across Ireland. Due to continued service growth, we are now seeking an experienced Associate Psychologist to join us.This role is remote with optional in-person work at our clinic in Monivea, Co. Galway, if desired.We are a small, friendly multidisciplinary team and we pride ourselves on our child and parent-centred approach.The RoleCompleting autism assessments as part of a supportive MDTWorking within a neuro-affirming framework (essential)Using recognised assessment tools such as ADI-R, ADOS-2 and MIGDAS-2Contributing to clear, high-quality, evidence-based assessment reportsTaking part in MDT discussions and feedback sessions with familiesWorking within a service where all administrative tasks are fully managed by our dedicated admin teamEssential CriteriaRecognised postgraduate qualification in psychology as recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)Experience in autism assessmentEligible to work as a psychologist in IrelandHigh standard of written English for professional report writingA strong neuro-affirming approach to practiceDesirable / AdvantageousChartered status (preferred, not essential)Experience with autism assessment tools e.g., ADI-R, ADOS-2, MIGDAS-2Experience in professional report writingExperience working with complex presentations, including: PDA profiles, ARFID, developmental trauma, co-occurring neurodevelopmental, mental health needsWhat We OfferAssociate position with competitive rates (renumeration based on experience and quantity of assessments completed per month)Ability to set your own working hoursRemote working, with optional in-person clinic workDedicated administrative support – no admin burdenAccess to secure and modern digital systems to support clinical workMonthly paid supervisionQuarterly paid online team meetingsA small, friendly, and collaborative teamThe opportunity to work within a trusted, specialist service with strong professional valuesStart DateAs soon as possible (subject due to Garda vetting as organised by our team)If you are an experienced psychologist who values neuro-affirming, child-centred practice and would like to work within a supportive, well-regarded service, we would love to hear from you.To ApplyPlease submit your CV and a short cover letter outlining your experience in autism assessment.For more information about our team and what we offer, see our website below:Job Type: Part-timePay: €10,000.00-€50,000.00 per yearExpected hours: No less than 4 per weekBenefits:Work from homeWork Location: Remote
