Overview
The Royal British Legion is a charity that was established in 1925 to look after veterans and their families of the British Armed forces in Ireland.
This role is to be a member of our board and keep the accounts up to date in the District Office of the Royal British Legion based in Molesworth Street, Dublin 2. The position requires that the person appointed would have to attend the Office at least one day per week.
Responsibilities
* Keep the accounts up to date in the District Office of the Royal British Legion, based in Molesworth Street, Dublin 2.
* Attend the Office at least one day per week.
* Assist with moving from non-computerised to computerised accounting as required.
* Present the accounts to the Auditor at the end of the financial year and answer any questions.
* Present the accounts at the AGM and answer or explain any questions from the floor.
* Present quarterly accounts at the quarterly meetings.
