Cairn Homes is looking for a graduate to join our Building Services team, on-site in one of our many locations. This will be an 18-month FTC.Key Responsibilities:Continuous monitoring of the installation quality for M&E systems on residential projects, from initial coordination to final commissioning and handoverSupport the site construction management teams in leading the coordination of M&E systems and assist with onsite problem solving, if and when issues ariseCoordinate with project design teams as required for M&E system interfaces with architectural and structural elementsWorking with M&E sub-contractors onsite, ensuring programme and quality expectations are achievedLiaise with Public Utility providers, local authorities, and design teams to ensure timely delivery of electricity, public lighting, gas, water and telecommunications services to new developments, acting as a point of contact for the respective sitesAnticipate the requirement for modification of existing site services and expedite mains service diversions in conjunction with the Utility ProvidersSupplement the company's innovation and value engineering processes in consideration and implementation of best-in-class mechanical / electrical systems and productsManagement of the Temporary Electric / water systemsThe Candidate;Further education in Mechanical, Electrical or Building ServicesInterest in energy management and emerging trends in residential building services, design, and constructionTeam player, organised, self-motivated and ability to work on own initiativeStrong relationship builder, communication and collaboration skills requiredFocus on deadlines and commitment to programme deliveryWillingness to travel between sites across greater Dublin and a full driving licenceStrong problem solving and attention to detail orientationAn ability to achieve demanding time and quality targetsThe ability to work independently using their own initiative in an organised manner but also be a strong team playerWorking with Cairn HomesAt Cairn, we believe it is essential that our employees feel valued and appreciated.
