About the Role
TOBIN is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our Water & Utilities division. This is a full-time position available
in Castlebar, Limerick, or Galway
, and we welcome applications from both experienced professionals and recent graduates.
You will work on diverse projects and develop your skills through mentoring from senior team members.
Qualifications Required
* Minimum
NCEA Certificate in Civil Engineering
, Construction Studies, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of our team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget by performing tasks such as:
* Drafting using software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, REVIT, ArcGIS, and SketchUp
* Conducting topographical surveys using calibrated instruments such as GPS units and Total Stations
* Producing detailed design drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D & REVIT
* Checking drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards
* Collaborating with clients and the design team to deliver high-quality projects
* Maintaining disciplined record-keeping of drawings and files
* Assisting engineers and technicians with detailing and sketching
* Following instructions from your Line Manager and, where appropriate, Project Managers and senior team members
