Responsibilities
We are recruiting for an Administrator within the Quality Department. The successful candidate will report to the Quality Department Team Lead and the Quality Department Manager. The successful candidate shall be highly organized, detail oriented, and will support Quality functions by maintaining quality records, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, and driving quality improvement.
Maintain and control quality documentation, records and relevant databases.
Process certificates, machinery cards, and all subcontract documentation in a structured approach for multiple projects running in parallel.
Liaise with sister‑companies, subcontractors and suppliers regarding relevant documentation received and requested.
Compile various documentation such as reports for crane certification records.
Maintain calibration matrix, sample material traceability records and NDT records.
Assist the quality team, quality engineers and inspectors in creating documentation and filing it.
Support the Quality function on quality metrics and KPIs.
Compile relevant logistics and quality paperwork, including preparation of documentation and reports for customer and third‑party engineer inspection visits.
Maintain, control, and distribute records of key processes with a view to continuously improving these processes and eliminating undue waste.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications, Requirements and Experience
NFQ level 5 office administration and/or suitable work experience in a similar role (Quality / Compliance).
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Prior experience in a customer‑focused environment is an advantage.
Experience working with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Infor) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, planning and organising skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate and interact with team members, management and customers.
Customer oriented.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proactive attitude.
Flexibility to self‑learn and improve.
Careful, conscientious, and methodical approach.
