The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report. Responsibilities • Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment • Discreetly observe for signs of theft / stock loss • Act lawfully in direct defense of property • Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences • Report in detail any suspicious incidents • Regularly patrol and survey the building • Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates • Watch alarm systems or video cameras • Close the building at night and complete necessary security checks The Person • Previous experience as a security guard, a static PSA licence and ideally a Door Supervisor PSA licence. • Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to detect any suspicious activities. • Be discrete in dealing with any suspicious activities. • Be a good communicator who is able to work effectively with other areas of the business. • A trustworthy and honest individual. • Very flexible - hours of work will vary and the business is open 7 days a week from 8am to 3am, depending on the day.
