Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced manufacturing process optimization specialist to join our engineering team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, developing optimal moulding processes and tooling.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise to ensure current and future projects meet customer specifications and internal standards.
* Develop and implement process improvements using statistical techniques and lean methodologies.
* Troubleshoot processing problems with production leaders.
* Establish relationships with customers and suppliers to drive continuous improvement and business growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* National Diploma in Plastics Engineering or degree in Engineering.
* At least 4-5 years' experience in the injection moulding industry.
* Excellent knowledge of injection mold tooling and design, as well as injection moulding, processing, ancillary equipment and automation systems.
* Familiarity with real-time monitoring systems, Statistical Process Control, Design of experiments and computer systems.
