Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef De Partie at White Sands Hotel in Portmarnock. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, managing their designated station, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly. Daily tasks include maintaining hygiene standards, assisting with menu planning, and training junior kitchen staff. The role also involves ensuring that food is prepared and presented in a consistent manner.
Qualifications
* Professional cooking skills, including knowledge of culinary techniques and methods
* Experience in managing kitchen stations and maintaining high standards of food quality
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
* Culinary school certification or equivalent experience
