GEDON Executive is looking for a talented and ambitious Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a respected Tier 2 main contractor in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a solid foundation in quantity surveying to advance their career on a significant education new build project in Central Dublin.
As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you\'ll be a vital part of the commercial team, contributing to the financial success of this key project.
We are looking for an individual with at least 1-2 years of post-graduate Irish experience who is ready to take on greater responsibility in a hybrid site/office role.
Key Responsibilities Cost Management: Assist in preparing accurate cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Monitor project costs to ensure they stay within budget.
Contract Administration: Help with contract administration tasks, including procurement, tendering, and the valuation of variations.
Financial Control: Track project expenditure and assist with preparing progress reports and financial statements.
Subcontractor Management: Liaise with subcontractors, managing payments and contract details.
Documentation: Ensure all commercial documentation is accurate and well-organized.
What\'ll Bring Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with 1-2 years of post-graduate experience in Ireland.
Educational Background: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar field is required.
Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills, a keen eye for detail, and good problem-solving abilities.
Communication: Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
Attitude: A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
