Migration Support Specialist
Job Description:
As a key member of the migrations team, you will play a vital role in migrating users, devices & mailboxes from legacy domains to a single national domain.
* Provide onsite support at specific sites or multiple sites on a mobile basis.
* Liaise with Relationship Managers to receive migration schedules and ensure timely execution.
* Manage issues through to resolution, ensuring excellent customer service.
* Escalate technical issues as necessary.
* Respond to Service Desk calls in a timely manner.
* Establish strong relationships with customers and end-users.
You will also be responsible for system administration using Active Directory, setting up Windows accounts/mailboxes, Microsoft exchange & servers, accessing and updating email branding sites, liaising with third-party vendors for software/hardware installations, troubleshooting hardware and system problems, installing and configuring computer hardware and peripherals, operating systems, and applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year's experience working in an IT Support environment is required. An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and report writing is essential. Good problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills are also required, along with the production of quality deliverables and an understanding of the Irish Healthcare system.
