Qualifications & Experience
• At least 1 year of home‑care experience in Ireland.
• At least 2 core modules of QQI Level 5 Health & Social Care (Care Skills & Care of the Older Person) and working towards full qualification.
• Full driving licence with access to a car.
• Good standard of English – spoken and written.
• Ability to work alternative weekends.
• Excellent interpersonal, empathy, organisational and time‑management skills (desirable).
Key duties and responsibilities
* Staff shadowing – ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures.
* Emergency over – rapid response (filling new packages and discharges).
* Evaluate and monitor quality of care delivered to clients and report concerns to area manager.
* Checking and collecting journal notes from client homes.
* Delivery of care plans, log sheets and gloves to clients’ homes when required.
* Delivery of PPE.
* Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
