Our client, a leading medical design and manufacturing company are hiring Production Operators to join their team in Sligo.
This role is an initial 6-month contract but has the potential to lead to a permanent role.
We are hiring for Weekday Day Shift and Weekday Evening Shift .
Responsibilities of a Production Operator (Full job description available on request): Manufacture of product in strict compliance with procedures and batch manufacturing records according to a production schedule.
Work with other team members to maintain current production including manufacturing of sub-assembly parts, assembly and packaging of the product.
Maintain accurate and timely testing manner, recording of test results related to quality, work in progress and special requirements.
Work with engineers and technicians to resolve process issues and suggest improvements on an ongoing basis.
Assist with training of other employees.
Will require to operate automatic, semi-automatic and moulding machinery.
Maintain clean room integrity by adherence to clean room environment practices and procedures.
Ideal background: Leaving Cert and/or minimum 2-year Medical Device manufacturing/production experience required.
Working knowledge of the GMP practices and manufacturing processes preferred.
Must be a highly motivated with ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
Must have a high level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with small plastic and metal components in manufacturing setting.
Use of precision hand tools.
