SGS GAS Analysis Services is growing, and we're looking for a skilled engineer to help us deliver high‑quality gas testing and instrumentation projects for our global affiliate network and customers.The OpportunityAs a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the continued growth of the affiliate support team in SGS GAS. You will manage and execute technical gas testing and instrumentation projects, support our AST Manager, and work closely with colleagues across SGS GAS to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.This is a customer‑facing, hands‑on role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, global exposure and end‑to‑end project ownership.
Job Description
What You'll Be DoingIn this role, you will:Execute gas testing and instrumentation projects for SGS affiliates and customers worldwideManage all aspects of project delivery, including:Developing project plans and solutions for customer requirementsPlanning equipment and resourcesManaging logisticsMaintaining strong customer relationships and updating CRMSupport the AST Manager with project management and operational tasksProvide technical support to all SGS GAS departmentsAssist in instrumentation projects (design, build and installation), as requiredDevelop a detailed understanding of relevant testing specifications and methodsWork to the quality requirements of SGS GAS and its customersFollow all project safety requirements for SGS GAS and our customers, always acting safely and in line with our policies and proceduresEnsure full compliance with the SGS Code of Integrity & Professional Conduct and our Equality & Diversity policyYou will be expected to respond flexibly to global customer demands, sometimes at short notice, and adopt a customer‑focused approach to ensure the highest level of service.
Qualifications
What You BringWe're looking for someone who can demonstrate:Over 5 years' experience as a Project Engineer in a similar roleExperience working in a GMP or other regulated industryStrong instrumentation and testing experienceExperience providing similar technical services directly to customers
