Job Description
The Catering Assistant will be responsible for setting up the catering units/wards, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and teas, day-to-day cleaning of the catering units and kitchens taking patients orders and uploading into the system. Serving food at ward level probing food and recording temperatures cleaning the pantry setting up for next day following all dietary requirements working as part of the catering team following instructions from management food prep presentation while working in hospital canteens following HACCP procedures ability to work efficiently keep calm under pressure ensuring health safety regulations adhered at all times.
* Serving breakfast lunch dinner tea beverages daily menu items according client requests
* Cleaning preparing kitchen areas serving utensils equipment maintaining high standards cleanliness hygiene sanitation
Duties include: Setting up pantry area tables buffet snacks assembling meal trays supporting patient healthcare needs responding prompt hospitality assisting staff if necessary.
