Senior Store Operations Manager
The main objective of this role is to effectively oversee the overall performance of a group of stores, ensuring that they operate efficiently and effectively.
* To achieve this goal, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of store managers and their employees, providing guidance, support, and motivation to help them succeed in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, increase sales, and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, provide feedback, and address any issues that may arise.
* Supervise and investigate the quality and standards of cleaning services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Allocate workloads, monitor progress, and determine work priorities, paying close attention to productivity and quality control.
* Ensure health and safety standards are maintained on store sites, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
* Control and monitor the correct use of technology, machinery, and cleaning materials in stores/on site.
* Carry out stock checks on produce, equipment, and materials as required, maintaining accurate records.
* Liaise with Human Resources promptly, communicating regularly and openly.
* Adhere to HACCP principles, procedures, and guidelines to ensure food produce is safe.
* Promote awareness of all company Policies and Procedures, Health and Safety Practices, and CAPA plans.
* Develop the business, assist store managers/build relationships in local communities, develop LSM plans with managers/franchisees for each store.
* Take the lead role in planning for people development, recruitment, selection, training, and succession planning for future expansion.
* Oversee employee relations and customer complaints, taking necessary action to minimize impact.
* Liaise with head office departments as necessary.
* Prepare weekly KPI reports, relative to; sales, productivity, man hours budgets, stock, margins, wastage.
* Manage time effectively, maximizing resource utilization.
* Review work methods and procedures to maximize efficiencies.
* Attend weekly management meetings at Head Office, prepared and open to new challenges.
* Communicate with Finance Department regarding services charges.
* Use Station Master and MyStaff sites daily.
* Develop a suitable trained and responsible team.
* Maximize Health & Safety in all aspects of the work environment.
* Address issues arising on a day-to-day basis.
* Report issues to Senior Management as necessary.
* Complete accident/incident investigations and report forms as per policy.
* Comply with all legislation i.e. working time act rest periods, max working hours etc., equality legislation, grievance and disciplinary procedure.
* Maintain accurate records including time and attendance, time sheets, site minutes.
* Handle staff disciplinary and grievances at a local level in accordance with company policy.
