Sports Performance Coach Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Strength and Conditioning practitioner to join our team as a Sports Performance Coach. In this role, you will work closely with athletes to develop their physical preparation skills, enabling them to achieve success on the international stage.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the development of athletes and a desire to contribute to the growth of our performance programme. You will be responsible for supporting athletes in transitioning towards a performance environment, planning and attending swim meets and camps, and working collaboratively with our team to deliver world-class programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support athletes in developing their physical preparation skills
* Plan and attend swim meets and camps
* Work collaboratively with the team to deliver world-class programmes
* Develop and implement training plans that meet the needs of individual athletes
* Maintain accurate records of athlete progress and provide regular feedback
Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Sports Science, Exercise Physiology)
* Relevant coaching experience and qualifications (e.g. UKSCA, NSCA)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with strength and conditioning principles and practices
