Quality & Office Manager in a growing design engineering consultancy in Arklow, Co. Wicklow. The practice has a mix of clients in the construction industry and provides a professional, quality, client orientated service. The role of Office & Quality Manager is required to maintain the company's quality management system (QMS) by controlling documents, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 standards, and implementing improvements. Key duties include managing the full lifecycle of quality documents, collaborating with departments on processes, generating reports and metrics, and issuing BER's on projects to clients.

The Key responsibilities will be the following:

Document Control:

* Manage an electronic work scheduling software & management system and associated content adaptation, manage updates, breaking down and distribution of project tasks, recording completion of tasks through the use of ISO documents.
* Ensure the company's ISO documents (e.g., quality audits, drawing issue sheets, calculation forms and records are up-to-date, accurate, and follow company standards.
* Control document versions, ensuring only the latest revisions are accessible to relevant personnel.

Quality Management System (QMS):

* Ensure compliance with the company's operating procedures and standards, particularly ISO 9001.
* Participate in internal quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support the generation of quality assurance documentation, including test reports and client quality packs.

Departmental Collaboration:

* Work between engineering and BER departments to facilitate the document flow process and ensure adherence of agreed client delivery dates and targets.
* Provide training and guidance to employees on document control systems and procedures.

Reporting & Administration:

* Compile and report on work flow management metrics, document status, and workflow performance.
* Assist with general administrative tasks, such as organizing meetings and monitoring review comments.

The Ideal Candidate

* A keen interest in improving the delivery of timely information and coordinating with internal departments to improve efficiency.
* A background in any industry that requires an understanding logistics, workflow management, communication and accurate documentation.
* Willingness to grow into a role and earn responsibility for client facing documents and package issue.

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Strong attention to detail is essential and non-negotiable to perform this role well.
* Excellent knowledge of Excel / Word / Powerpoint
* Organizational Skills
* Effective communication skills
* Willingness to learn and grow a tailored software application for the company work flows.
* Ability to drive progress

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €32,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
