La Mer’s journey began when Dr. Max Huber suffered burns in an experiment gone awry and set out to create his own destiny. A physicist by day, stargazer and dreamer by night, he hoped to unlock the power of renewal of the sea.
Inspired by the oceanic world, Huber fermented nutrient-rich sea kelp with other natural ingredients. After 12 years and 6,000 experiments, Crème de la Mer was born, and Huber’s skin appeared dramatically renewed.
KNOW THE ROLE
La Mer is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join their team at Brown Thomas Dublin on a Part-Time (15 hours) basis. Your main responsibility is to achieve personal objectives set by La Mer and contribute to the success of the store through outstanding customer service, while promoting and maintaining the brand’s image and reputation.

Working with a dynamic team, you will help create a visually appealing shopping environment by maintaining high standards of visual merchandising. You will also have:
* Passion and energy to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
* A desire to understand your clients’ skin and makeup goals to confidently recommend routines
* An approachable and friendly personality
* Confidence in speaking to customers, getting to know them, and understanding their needs
* Flexible availability across days and hours; please discuss your availability with the hiring manager during the interview
* Previous retail/customer service experience is beneficial
* Proof of right to live and work in the country
