At Zurich Ireland, our Integrated Talent Management (ITM) team is looking for a confident development consultant who can design and deliver engaging training, while also coordinating and administering the development programmes that support our people’s growth.
You’ll play a key role in building capability across our organisation by combining strong operational coordination and administration with impactful content design and training delivery. You’ll support leaders and colleagues to develop the skills they need for today – and for the future.
This role may be available part-time or full time.This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full‑time. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you may need.
What’s the role?
As a Capability & Leadership Development Consultant, you’ll be part of the ITM team and report to the Capability and Leadership Development Lead.
You will:
Lead the coordination and delivery of key learning and development programmes
Design, curate and continuously improve learning content and development experiences
Facilitate workshops, webinars and training sessions with confidence and impact
Manage the operational, coordination and administrative aspects of development programmes
Partner with stakeholders across the business to support capability building and talent development
Provide support to talent acquisition when specialist or critical capabilities are required
This role is ideal for someone with solid HR and L&D experience who enjoys combining hands‑on delivery and content creation with robust programme coordination and administration.
What will you do?
Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on learning, career development, professional qualifications and talent management topics.
Lead the coordination and delivery of key programmes, for example:
Zurich Achieve (Early Career Programme)
Leadership Curriculum
Organisational Capability & Customer Initiatives (Learning Weeks, Customer Care Programme, and others)
Performance Management Development Sessions (including quarterly webinars, performance management communications and manager support)
Design and curate high‑quality learning content and supporting materials (e.g. facilitator guides, participant workbooks, digital learning content, toolkits and communication plans).
Facilitate in‑person and virtual training sessions, ensuring engaging, inclusive and impactful learning experiences.
Own the operational aspects of our development offerings, including scheduling, participant communication, enrolment management and feedback collection.
Liaise with external training partners and manage end‑to‑end logistics, communications and administration, including super‑user responsibilities for our learning management system.
Leverage data and insights from the learning management system and Power BI dashboards to evaluate impact, identify trends and inform decision‑making.
Contribute to broader HR and ITM projects, bringing a learning and capability‑building lens to organisational initiatives.
Support colleagues and leaders in building the capabilities needed for future business and customer needs, acting as a coach and advisor where appropriate.
Who are you?
You are an experienced HR / L&D professional who is comfortable operating with autonomy and collaborating across teams. You bring a practical, solutions‑focused mindset and a genuine passion for helping others develop.
You will have:
Experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development or Talent Management (CIPD membership and/or professional L&D qualification is an advantage).
Proven experience in designing, delivering and evaluating learning initiatives (e.g. workshops, webinars, development programmes).
Strong skills in using learning management systems, confidence managing associated administration and reporting with a curiosity and experience of the adaption of innovative digital solutions.
Demonstrated capability in coordinating and administering development programmes, with robust planning and follow‑through.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and create inclusive learning environments.
Strong planning and organisational skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.
A collaborative, “one team” mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Flexibility, curiosity and a positive attitude, with a genuine interest in supporting others’ growth and embracing new ways of learning.

Additional Information
Primary work location is Wexford. Occasional travel may be required to other Zurich locations. Hybrid working will be facilitated as part of our way of working.
