We are working with a market-leading international law firm who are looking for an associate to join their Construction team within their Dublin office.
Overview
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and dedicated team, supporting a broad range of international and domestic clients, including large corporate entities, government bodies, developers, and contractors.
The candidate will advise clients on issues such as project procurement, dispute avoidance, and resolution mechanisms.
The candidate will play a key role in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters, such as warranties, building contracts and development agreements, in a range of sectors including process engineering, energy and infrastructure, and life sciences.
The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.
Responsibilities
Support a broad range of international and domestic clients in construction matters, including project procurement, dispute avoidance, and resolution mechanisms.
Contribute to both contentious and non-contentious construction matters (warranties, building contracts, development agreements) across various sectors such as process engineering, energy and infrastructure, and life sciences.
Assist in developing business and managing client relationships.
Qualifications
2-6 PQE
Strong background in construction law within a large international or domestic firm
Outstanding academics
Technically excellent
Willingness to become involved in business development
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
