About the Role We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Spare Parts Assistant to join our dynamic team in Dublin. This is a hands-on, site-based role that plays a critical part in the smooth operation of our parts department. Youll be responsible for supporting warehouse logistics, managing inventory, and ensuring our engineers and customers receive the right parts at the right time. Key Responsibilities You will work closely with the Parts Manager and engineering team to ensure the efficient handling of all spare parts operations. Your duties will include: Parts Management & Distribution Identify, source, and distribute spare parts for forklifts and associated attachments. Accurately pick and supply parts to engineers, ensuring minimal downtime. Respond to internal and external parts inquiries with professionalism and technical accuracy. Used Parts Program Take ownership of the used parts program, including cataloguing, storage, and reuse. Ensure all used parts are properly tracked and integrated into inventory systems. Inventory & Stock Control Maintain accurate inventory records using digital systems. Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. Conduct regular stock checks and assist with audits. Process incoming deliveries and outgoing orders efficiently and accurately. Log and process returns from engineers, ensuring correct documentation. Warehouse Operations Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Safely lift, move, and store heavy items using appropriate equipment and techniques. Ensure all stock is put away promptly and correctly. Team Support & Administration Take ownership of delegated tasks and ensure timely completion. Support the team in managing a high-volume workload and meeting tight deadlines. Assist with administrative tasks related to parts ordering, tracking, and reporting. What Were Looking For Were looking for someone who is not only capable but also eager to grow within the role.
