The Tax Manager, based in Cork, will take the lead on managing tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
About the Role Our client is seeking a Tax Manager to take ownership of group-wide tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
This role is central to ensuring compliance with evolving tax regulations and supporting the broader financial strategy.
Working closely with internal teams, external advisors, and senior leadership, you'll proactively manage tax risks and identify planning opportunities.
The position also offers strong potential for professional growth across all areas of corporate taxation.
Responsibilities Oversee corporate tax compliance across several entities and countries Manage R&D tax credit claims in Ireland and the UK Support the rollout of group-wide transfer pricing policies Oversee VAT compliance and reporting in multiple jurisdictions Provide tax advice on international payroll and employee packages Lead and support the growing tax team Develop and improve tax policies across areas like VAT, PAYE, corporation tax, and subcontractor taxes Work closely with teams in finance, HR, payroll, and commercial to ensure smooth operations Help drive team training, development, and communication About You You're a qualified tax professional (Chartered Tax Adviser or similar) with at least three years' experience in tax, ideally with some international exposure.
You're a natural problem-solver, a strong communicator, and someone who enjoys taking initiative.
You're comfortable leading others, working cross-functionally, and adapting in a fast-moving environment.
Most importantly, you're keen to keep learning and growing in your role.
