We are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in an acute hospital setting.
About the Role:
* Conduct thorough OT assessments and implement individualised, evidence-based treatment plans
* Lead on functional rehabilitation, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning
* Deliver high-quality care across a range of clinical areas including medical, surgical, stroke, and frailty
* Participate in MDT meetings, care planning, and patient education
* Contribute to quality improvement, audit and service development initiatives
* Supervise junior staff and support professional development where appropriate
Maintain accurate, professional clinical documentation in line with HSE and CORU standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, teamwork, and clinical reasoning skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to a fast-paced hospital setting.
Requirements:
* CORU Registration as an Occupational Therapist
* Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience
* Experience in an acute, hospital, rehabilitation or community setting
* Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical reasoning skills
* Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to a fast-paced hospital setting
