The role
VMware Systems Engineer
This is a hybrid role, requiring the successful candidate to attend our Tralee office.
Responsibilities

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage platforms, networking, and telecommunications equipment.
Deploy and manage server operating systems, database software, file services, authentication platforms, email servers, backup systems, and firewalls.
Perform regular hardware and platform upgrades to ensure stability, performance, and security.
Monitor system performance on a daily basis, proactively identifying risks and optimisation opportunities.
Provide 2nd/3rd line support for infrastructure-related issues and act as an escalation point for major incidents.
Participate in incident response and recovery activities for high‑severity outages.
Design, implement, and support VMware infrastructure solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
Monitor, maintain, and optimise existing VMware environments to ensure high availability and performance.
Troubleshoot complex performance, capacity, and availability issues across the virtual estate.
Implement VMware best practices across compute, storage, and networking layers.
Ensure VMware environments meet security, compliance, and audit requirements.
Develop, maintain, and improve technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks.
Operate monitoring and reporting tools, including performance, capacity, availability, and access auditing.
Generate reports on key metrics such as system uptime, resource utilisation, storage capacity, backup performance, and incident trends.
Support governance, controls, and compliance obligations in a regulated environment.
Work closely with infrastructure, application, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and service delivery.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders across regions and teams.
Contribute positively to a collaborative team culture while demonstrating leadership and ownership when required.

Qualifications and Skills

3+ years’ experience in VMware administration and engineering within an enterprise environment.
Knowledge of VMware solutions: vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, virtual networking, vRealize/Aria Suite – Operations, Automation, Log Insight.
Understanding of core operating system concepts: CPU, Memory, Storage I/O, Networking.
VMware certification preferred: VCA, VCP, VCAP.
Exposure to scripting: PowerShell, PowerCLI, Ansible.
Knowledge of storage technologies: Fiber Channel, SAN, NAS, vSAN, vVOLS.
Familiarity with networking fundamentals.
Familiarity with backup & recovery technologies: ArcServe, NetBackup, Tivoli, Rubrik, Cohesity, Veeam.
Familiarity with disaster recovery tools & fundamentals: vSphere Replication, SRM, SRDF, Zerto, RPO vs RTO.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business audiences.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage complex, multi‑stream workloads.

Senior Data Quality Developer
This is a hybrid role, requiring the successful candidate to attend our Tralee office.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Data Quality rules in Collibra Data Quality across key data quality dimensions, including completeness, accuracy, validity, consistency, timeliness, and uniqueness.
Develop, optimise, and maintain advanced SQL to support data quality validations across large and complex datasets.
Own the end‑to‑end Data Quality rule lifecycle, including requirements analysis, rule design, development, unit testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
Analyse rule execution results, investigate exceptions, perform root‑cause analysis, and proactively drive issues to resolution.
Collaborate closely with Regulatory Reporting, Risk, Compliance, Data Governance, and Technology teams to ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
Participate in the migration of existing Data Quality rules from legacy DQ frameworks or platforms to Collibra Data Quality (CDQ), ensuring functional equivalence and adherence to governance standards.
Support rule output reconciliation processes to compare and validate results between legacy DQ solutions and CDQ, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory consistency during and after migration.

Qualifications and Skills

Strong experience in data quality rule development within the banking or financial services industry.
Prior understanding of regulatory and risk reporting, including FR Y‑9C, FR 2052a, CECL, RWA, Compliance, Risk, etc.
Prior understanding of KDE, DQ Controls / Business Specification, Manual Data Controls, etc.
Extensive hands‑on experience with Collibra Data Governance and Collibra Data Quality.
Advanced SQL expertise (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning).
Strong understanding of data quality frameworks and dimensions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments, using tools such as Jira.
Hands‑on experience working with data platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, Denodo, Databricks, or similar technologies.
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools, including GitHub or Bitbucket, Jenkins, and artifact repositories (PyPI or Maven).
Experience working with API integration tools like Azure Logic Apps.

Technical Product Engineer, End User Experience
This is a hybrid role, requiring the successful candidate to attend our Tralee office.
Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical counterpart to Workplace Technology Service Owners for assigned platforms.
Provide hands‑on technical assistance during platform incidents, changes, upgrades, and investigations.
Support Service Owners in incident response and root‑cause analysis, helping diagnose failures and recurring issues.
Assist in implementing approved designs, configurations, and standards in partnership with Architecture and vendor teams.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and integration issues impacting physical and digital workplace technologies.

Experience with batch file scripting for task automation, system interaction, and troubleshooting support in Windows environments.

Responsibilities

Utilise analysis to create technical specifications for the application.

This is a hybrid role, requiring the successful candidate to attend our Tralee office.
Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders, explaining code issues and fixes.
Collaborate with developers to ensure code is scanned before release, focusing on SAST, SCA, DAST, IAST, and Container Security.
Interface with development and security architecture teams on vulnerability remediation, threat‑modeling, etc.
Work with vulnerability management to report and validate vulnerabilities.
Publish and present high‑level management reports on the AppSec program.
Perform mandatory manual testing activities for vulnerability or penetration testing findings.
Must be available for weekend and night work as needed.
