What you will do
We have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Manager (Fibre Team) – leading a team of Fibre Technicians responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fibre optic systems (including AMG fibre transmission circuits).
Managing the day-to-day activities of Service Technicians to ensure the successful delivery of customer solutions, including installation, troubleshooting, and response to malfunctions.
You will also:
* Provide regular updates and progress reports to the Senior Service Delivery Manager, ensuring clear communication on team performance, project milestones, and operational issues.
* Supervise and ensure the delivery of services by the technician team, ensuring adherence to industry standards and QHSSE guidelines.
* Track and assess technician performance, ensuring KPIs for service completion times, quality, and safety standards are met, fostering teamwork.
* Ensure proper allocation and maintenance of tools, vehicles, and equipment necessary for operations, ensuring readiness for all service requests.
* Enforce strict safety protocols and regulatory compliance, especially regarding roadworks, public safety, and operational procedures in urban traffic environments.
Your Profile
What we are looking for (in order of importance):
* Proven experience in Fibre Optic networks, installations, transmission, IT Networks, CCTV systems, and understanding civil engineering works related to fibre deployments.
* Experience in project planning and delivery, managing fibre installation programs from start to finish, including fault diagnosis and network maintenance.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations, especially in urban traffic environments, with the ability to enforce adherence.
* Experience managing and motivating a team of Service Technicians in high-pressure settings, with strong communication skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders.
* The unrestricted right to live and work in Ireland and a Full and Clean (Class B) driver’s license.
* Additional qualifications such as City & Guilds Level 5 in Traffic Management, Electrical Systems, or Service Management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ITIL) are advantageous.
