Location: Limerick City Centre (On-Site)Reporting To: Head of FinanceAbout the OpportunityOur client, Limerick Twenty Thirty, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join its Finance team on a part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment while taking ownership of day-to-day finance administration and accounting processes.The successful candidate will support the Finance Department across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, tax compliance, reporting, and general finance administration.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess supplier invoices accurately and efficiently within the accounting system.Match purchase orders to invoices and investigate discrepancies.Ensure procurement approvals are obtained in accordance with company procedures.Apply appropriate VAT treatment to invoices.Set up and maintain supplier records.Accounts Receivable & CustomersSet up and maintain customer accounts.Prepare and issue customer invoices in accordance with existing agreements.Follow up on outstanding customer payments when required.Banking & ReconciliationsAssist with preparation of supplier payment runs.Complete bank reconciliations and investigate variances.Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.Tax & ComplianceApply PSWT and RCT where applicable.Support Revenue reporting and compliance requirements.Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and procedures.Finance AdministrationSupport month-end finance processes.Assist with payroll and pension reconciliations.Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.Provide finance support to other departments and assist with funding documentation requirements.Undertake additional finance and administrative duties as required.Candidate ProfileMinimum 3 years’ experience in a similar accounts or finance role.Experience using accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar systems.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team.Professional approach with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.For a confidential discussion and more information, please contact Jessica Kennedy
