We are looking for a motivated and technically-minded individual to join our team as a Fire Safety Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing fire protection systems to ensure they function effectively and comply with safety standards. Prior experience in fire safety would be an advantage but not required, as full training will be provided. Qualifications & Skills
Required
· Qualified electrician (or other relevant engineering degree; or relevant fire industry experience)
· Full drivers licence
· Safepass & Manual handling
· Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
· Good communication skills (report writing & customer interaction)
Desirable but not necessary
· AutoCAD design, Revit experience
· Knowledge of fire alarms and IS:3218
· Knowledge of emergency lights and IS:3217
· Knowledge of fire suppression systems including (Inergen, Ansul, FM200, Novec, Firetrace & PAFSS)
· Fire extinguishers, smoke control AOV's & dampers, fire doors, magnetic locks & release mechanisms, PA/VA, linear heat, beam detection VESDA and aspirating
· Security, intruder, access, CCTV
· Ongoing training is provided
