Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design process, creating detailed technical packages and construction details for client proposals.
* Conduct feasibility studies and exercises to evaluate project potential for clients.
* Apply in-depth knowledge of building regulations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including certification and processes/usage; fulfilling the role of Design/Assigned Certifier.
* Demonstrate strong understanding and application of Fire Safety and Disability Access Certificate (DAC) compliance in design.
* Support the planning submission process and assist in coordinating necessary documentation.
* Develop and produce construction details for internal teams and external clients.
* Coordinate and manage architectural information with contractors during the tender and construction phases.
* Conduct site inspections, liaising with contractors to ensure quality control and compliance during the build process.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architecture, preferably with exposure to residential, housing development, and commercial projects is required.
RIAI Registration is preferable but not mandatory.
Advanced skills in REVIT, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, 3D Modelling, Sketch-Up, and Rendering/Visualisation/Animation are essential.
Expertise in creating detailed technical packages and construction details is also required.
Project Management skills with proven ability to manage projects from initial concept through to client handover are necessary.
Strong communication, coordination, and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate within a creative, design-focused environment are required.
Well-organised individuals with proven ability to meet deadlines, even when under pressure, are preferred.
Flexibility to travel internationally when required and possession of a driving licence are additional benefits.
