Job Overview
The role of an Associate Scientist involves providing end-user support by troubleshooting Empower-related queries or re-directing to responsible groups when needed. This includes creating and maintaining Empower through the appropriate change management process to support laboratory testing activities and ensuring business, project, and/or investigation/CAPA timelines are met.
Key responsibilities include executing and documenting appropriate change control and/or verifying changes executed by team members are accurate and associated within the lab system. Additionally, communicating the impact of lab system changes to integrated systems areas is crucial.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific, computer, or engineering program
* At least 0-3 years' experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Basic knowledge and understanding of analytical techniques including separations, compendial based assays, and/or bioanalytical based methods
* Knowledge of databases and/or Microsoft Office Applications (Access, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word) is preferred
* Ability to understand and follow cGMPs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
