You will work cross‑functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop clear, accurate, and commercially competitive submissions.The organisation offers a supportive working environment, opportunities for progression, an Employee Assistance Programme, personal development initiatives, and a Cycle to Work Scheme.Key ResponsibilitiesTrack tender opportunities and gather all relevant documentation, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs).Review, organise, and analyse RFP documents to fully understand project scope and client requirements.Request clarifications and conduct site visits when required to ensure accurate proposal preparation.Collect and coordinate all technical and commercial information needed from internal teams or external suppliers, including pricing and delivery schedules.Develop comprehensive bid submissions, ensuring alignment with client expectations, company capabilities, and industry best practices.Identify and assess potential risks associated with proposals and contractual terms; participate in internal risk reviews.Prepare documentation for internal approval prior to submission.Upload and submit proposals via designated platforms or other required methods.Manage follow‑ups during the evaluation phase and respond promptly to client queries.Support or participate in contract discussions and negotiations when required.Essential Skills & ExperienceDegree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar technical, engineering, or sales-related role—preferably within substation engineering.Strong exposure to contract negotiation or execution.Proven experience preparing technical and commercial proposals.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.Full driver's licence.
